Temporary Closure & Call for Volunteers

Eyelevel will be closed until November 29th while we set up our new bookstore and community space in our new home.

Eyelevel is now located at 2177B Gottingen Street, Halifax NS, B3K 3B5

While we are undertaking renovations, the new space will normally be locked and open by appointment only. Access Eyelevel through the white door left of Radstorm's main entrance (we're right up the stairs). There is a doorbell on the upper right side of the doorframe which you can ring for entrance.

We are looking for volunteers to help paint, set up our new bookstore and work our fundraiser!

We are looking for volunteers to help us paint and set up the bookstore on the following dates:

Wednesday, November 13th: Painting party from 12PM - 9PM

Saturday, November 23rd: Bookstore and studio set-up (maybe a bit of painting) 12PM - 6PM

*Snacks will be provided on both days. If you would like to help out on either of these days, please contact Sally at director@eyelevel.art with the date and time that you'd like to help out.

Our fundraiser Shine in the Dark Is happening on November 29th, and we're looking for some volunteers to help us out on that night!

We are looking for the following volunteer shifts to be covered:

12PM - 8PM (set up)

8PM - 11PM (greeting)

8PM - 11PM (bartending)

8PM - 11PM (t-shirt table)

11PM - 2AM (greeting)

11PM - 2AM (bartending)

11PM - 2AM (t-shirt table)

November 30th: 12PM - 2PM (clean up)

Greeters, t-shirt folks and bartenders will be in groups of 2, and Eyelevel's staff, Board and Engagement Committee will be floating that night to support volunteers or manage any issues that arise. Snacks will be provided to all volunteers, and rides or cab fare will be available on request to ensure that volunteers staying late can get home safely.

If you would like to volunteer for our fundraiser, please get in touch with Regine Tiu at regine.d.tiu@gmail.com
