Two Together

The installation utilized soundtracks, motors, candlelight, shadows, surveillance mirrors, miniature windows, and specially constructed furniture. The various pieces of furniture contain concealed switches which activate the soundtracks when the viewer sits on a seat. The central image in the installation is a pink triangle placed over a yellow triangle so that the two together form a Star of David. “Two Together” deals with the similarities and differences of Jewish and Gay cultures and the resulting perspective acquired when one is a member of both these minorities.
