Transcript is a multi media performance work written by Judith Doyle and it will be performed by Judith Doyle and it will be performed by Anna Camara.

…represents two spoken accounts as directly as possible – the first on pain, the second on emigration from Portugal to Canada. In both accounts, the speaker was abruptly displaced – the first physiologically (a broken back), the second spatially and culturally (a move to this country). Both speak of basic relations with exterior technological and ideological circumstances (the hospital, the airport) and about changes in perception.

I wanted Transcript to be personal and specific b y maintaining the first-person voice, and working with individuals in a close proximity to me.
