Tides of History - An Imaginary Travelogue

Derived from the opposing harbor and street views from the gallery windows at Eye Level, the proposed theme of this exhibit might be described as “land and sea”. The representational scheme is to be derived from various sites in a city viewed as “museum”; providing the material of metaphor. Important to this exhibition will be a consideration of the central role of the spectator/visitor within the exhibition’s field of representation: stylistically the project might be described as “Tour-ism”.
