“On one side of the room is a panoramic spread of photographs of Peggy’s Cove and a music stand holding the music book. Romanticism I: 300 year old violin music, opened to a Schumann sonata. On the other side is a music stand holding a service manual for a portable video cassette, open to a video amplifier schematic diagram, and a spread of photographs of Toronto high-rises and houses…Perhaps the artist is indicating people must choose between nature and technology, or perhaps he is expressing the lure of technology.” The Chronicle Herald 11 May 1985
