HEAT WAVES #3 | DEVON JONES

Devon will be at Eyelevel from July 15th-28th !!

Eyelevel is so excited to welcome Devon Jones, our third HEAT WAVES artist in residence!! Devon will be at Eyelevel from July 15th-28th, so come by and say hello! 

Devon Jones (they/them) is a non-binary artist, based in K’jipuktuk (Halifax, NS), focused on drawing, printmaking, and fiber related arts. Born and raised in Tkaronto (Toronto, ON), they are currently pursuing an interdisciplinary degree at NSCAD University.

Devon explores themes and intersections of identity, relationships, gender, and nature. These investigations manifest through images both representative, symbolic, and in-between. Emotive figures, familial objects, and organic forms inhabit the drawings and prints they make, with the hope of communicating their experiences, anxieties, and the connections and separations they see in the world around them.
