Printed Matter Artist-in-Residence
Eyelevel is seeking submissions for its 2018 Printed Matter Artist-in-Residence program. The residency will take place throughout the month of May, 2018, alongside the Eyelevel Reshelving Initiative 8, a biennale exhibition of artist’s books, multiples, and printed matter.
The local artist-in-residence will be invited to spend up to one month experimenting with printed matter at Eyelevel. They will receive access to twenty-four hour studio space and space to host up to two public presentations of their choosing (workshops, artist talks, performances, facilitated discussions, etc.).
The artist-in-residence will receive a stipend of $1,200.00, plus an additional $300.00 per public presentation. Material costs up to $200.00 can be covered by Eyelevel.
Artists at all stages of their careers are encouraged to apply.
