Call For Volunteers
Looking to get more involved in the Halifax arts community? Eyelevel is seeking board and committee members to join our team!
Board/committee participation is on a volunteer basis. Each board/committee meets roughly once a month (over Zoom), and no prior experience with boards or nonprofits is required. Members should expect to contribute roughly 5-10 hours per month of volunteer time by attending meetings, responding to emails, and participating in committees.
The Board of Directors is responsible for:
- Managing the Artistic Co-Directors.
- Overseeing fundraising activities like events, grants and sponsorships.
- Working with the staff to develop policies and strategic plans.
- Help develop programming and participate in submissions juries.
The Engagement Committee is responsible for:
- Help develop fundraising initiatives.
- Offer support to the Artistic Directors during the fundraising cycle.
- Reach out to possible funders on behalf of Eyelevel.
-Develop outreach programs to engage with community members.
