Accessibility:

The Khyber Centre for the Arts is wheelchair accessible via the Granville Mall entrance. The main entrance to the Khyber requires two steps up. Nongendered washrooms are located on-site, just outside the gallery, with a wheelchair-accessible option. Limited seating will be available on armless folding chairs. The event follows Eyelevel's COVID-19 protocols and will be fully mask-required. HEPA filters will be on site, and CO2 levels are monitored. Eyelevel will provide KN95 masks. This event is free and all are welcome. Snacks to eat outside or take away have been generously provided by The Loaded Ladle.

Nailah's work deals with themes of Afrofuturism, colonialism, anti-black racism, and topics such as genocide and war may be discussed during the artist talk. Nailah Moon has vetted the artists in this exhibition, but the content of the work they will be bringing is not fully known. Visitors are advised that the artwork shown and discussed throughout the event may contain heavy social and political themes. Folks are welcome to get up, take a break, step outside or leave early.

The Khyber has detailed access notes on their space and organization on their website, which can be found here: https://www.khyber.ca/access/
