Edell’s brightly coloured and animated drawings depict a dream world populated with myth-like beings within a fanciful landscape. Often seen is a female character being confronted by a half-human, half-animal creature. It is as if the artist is portraying herself encountering the products of her imagination. Edell has also translated some of her drawings into delightful hooked rugs.
