Come Dance Among the Appetizers

The two large sculptures shown were comprised of 3,000 small units, each representing the Italian pasta tortellini and tortelloni. These sculptures surround an unusually painted and altered photo-mural depicting a newlywed couple surrounded by food while awaiting their guests. As the title suggests the taking of objects also includes that objects take us. Food and marriage are items to be held and to behold in this exhibition. Both are acts of sharing and creating with the twist that it also creates us. This installation was a strange mixture of image and object in the transaction of creating and being created
