From a Chronicle Herald article, dated June 1983:

"Three Halifax artists, Marina Stewart, John Greer and Andrew Forster, will open exhibitions on Tuesday at 8pm in the Eyelevel Gallery, 1585 Barrington, Suite 306. Stewart will show photographs and Greer Sculpture. Forster, an artist of international repute, will present a major retrospective of his work.

Forster was born in Halifax in 1942 and has gained international recognition for his sculpture, film, and printed works. He has lived most of the past 20 years in Europe; this marks his first retrospective showing in Canada. The exhibit includes examples of work from every period of his career and is fully catalogued. Curator is Millicent Wagner."
