Eyelevel Members’ Show 2010

Comprised of five, week long shows, Members’ Weekly will be showcasing a wide variety of works by current Eyelevel members. Week 1: Good Vibrations
July 6th – 10th
Opening Reception Monday July 5th, 6 – 8pm
Featuring live painting by Sharon Hodgson!
 
Members’ Weekly starts off with a burst of summer fun in its first installment Good Vibrations.
 
While covering a wide array of media and subject matter, the pieces in this first group are connected by either a vibrant and playful aesthetic, a wry pop-culture sensibility or a combination of both. Comprised of sculpture, painting, ceramics and more it’s sure to be a great start to the summer.

The artists included in Good Vibrations  are Andrew Hunt, Tanya Cull, Bethany Riordan-Butterworth, Adam O’Reilly, Sharon Hodgson, Tara MacDougall, Nelson Hubley, David Figueroa, and Karyn Houston.

Week 2 - Re: Translations
July 13th – 17th

Opening Reception Monday July 12th, 6 – 8pm

Featuring a live audio performance by EQM and Research Council! The artists included in Re: Translation are: Jon David Welland, Sophia Erdahl, EQM Industries, Research Council, Aaron Mangle, Lisa Folkerson, Qahtan, and Andrew Maize

Week 5: Making It
August 3rd - 7th
 Opening Reception Monday August 2nd, 6 – 8pm

Members’ Weekly wraps up with its fifth and final show, Making It. Creation and fabrication are explored through work about making, work that shows its making and work that is made in the gallery itself.

The artists included in Making it are Matthew Carswell. Will Vandermeulen, Annik Gaudet, Chris Foster, Dan Joy, Anke Holm, Joanna Close, Tonia DiRisio and the Bruno Bobtail Gallery.
