A Major Retrospective

The exhibition includes examples of works from all periods of his career and also includes a full catalogue. According to curator Milicent Wagner “the show represents a significant contribution to the recognition of Forster’s importance in Canada. It is fitting that it should take place in Halifax, the place of his birth." The show is a retrospective of sorts, part fiction, part truth. The piece will be made up of a ‘retrospective show’ and an accompanying catalogue for an artist, now approaching forty, a native of this city whose principle exposure, and influence, up until now has been in Europe.
