This is a show of work made by untrained Nova Scotian artists. Sometimes referred to as “naïve” or “primitive” the artists’ styles vary but the same sensibilities reign – the art is all imaginative, childlike and often fantastic. The work ranges from smaller paintings to huge hand-carved sculptures and represents many areas of the province.
