6 – 29 Apr 1993

The exhibition proposed would entail six installing pieces, the core fo each being mural sized photographs, but using the space of the gallery as well by the inclusion of sculptural objects connected with each photographic ‘core’. A number of these objects will be in fact machines, connected with physically or metaphorically to the photographs. Each ‘tableau’ will be concerned with a specific aspect of traditional male training, ie stoicism, strength, honour, etc. which will be examined by way of a specific anecdote, with the intended purpose of deconstructing the myth og these ‘virtues’ and examining their actual function in society.
