ABOUT THE ARTIST

Gio Taliafero (he/him) is a young Black LGBTQ+ digital artist born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Gio's passions mainly focus on creating various kinds of digital art and dabbling in character and fashion design. Heavily inspired by the works of various anime and manga artists, Gio's goal is to bring the proper representation that is lacking in the anime community by creating his own characters that BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and people of different cultures can relate to.
