Eyelevel Gallery is hosting a public performance series in Point Pleasant Park. This series will address Point Pleasant Park as a specific site, engaging park visitors and project participants alike, to experience artwork outside of the traditional gallery space in the public realm. This project will create an intersection for the park and gallery to meet, providing a mutually beneficial exchange of ideas and experiences for both communities. Eyelevel Gallery’s ambition is to connect with a neighborhood of Halifax that we are often not physically attached to on a regular basis, furthering the broader communities interest of both gallery activities and the medium of performance art. This project is supported through HRM Cultural Affairs' Open Project program, Nova Scotia Tourism, Culture and Heritage and Nova Scotia Labor and Workforce Development.
