Drawing from Memory with Toby
Registration is now open for our upcoming event "Drawing From Memory" with our spring Artist-in-Residence, Toby! Join us on May 17th, 2026, from 2-4 pm to spend time drawing your keepsakes, mementos, souvenirs, and other objects that hold your personal memories. Bring one or more of your own, or come and draw your bedroom/the space around you.

Our Zoom call will have closed captions, a text chat, and the option to share about your keepsakes. Please note that this program has a 15-person limit. Participants have the option to pick up a small kit of drawing supplies from Eyelevel's office at 2482 Maynard Street (wheelchair accessible). Artist Bio: Toby Green is a Disabled drawing artist who makes sequential art about the sick body's clock and "crip time". Since 2020, Toby has been slowly creating his debut graphic novel, "Adagio": a story about a trans musician on the brink of severe illness, who is trying to relearn how to keep time.
