Call for Submissions - ERI 11: About Town
Deadline: October 9th by midnight
Eyelevel invites all current members to submit work for the 11th iteration of our biannual printed matter members’ show, ERI! This year, we are partnering with Nocturne Art At Night to present members’ works in ad spaces across the city. Members are invited to consider the context of advertising when submitting their work. Some interpretations on this theme could include:
-
Designs that mimic or subvert advertising
-
Text-based art
-
Referencing the history of ads
-
Protest signage and postering
A selection of submissions will be displayed on digital ads at the ferry terminals, and two digital billboards on Barrington Street during Nocturne (October 18th). All other submissions will be postered across downtown and the North End. All submissions will be available for purchase as limited-edition high-quality prints through our bookstore, with 70% of proceeds going to the artist.
Members are invited to submit original designs or documentation of past work that can work well as a poster or an ad. Submissions should follow the size guidelines below for either horizontal or vertical display.
This exhibition is non-juried and for Eyelevel members. If you are not currently a member, memberships can be purchased at www.eyelevel.art/membership. Free/PWYC memberships are available, and membership is open to anyone.
