SMALL TALKS
An informal artist talk series in collaboration with Eyelevel Artist-Run Centre and NSCAD Art History Grads.
5 speakers, 5 different topics, 5 minutes.

Saturday, April 28th, 2pm
Art Bar + Projects, 1873 Granville St, Halifax

Featuring research talks by:

Emma Allain: on artists books, intuitive writing, and the Gaspé
Anna Taylor: on accessible curatorial practices
Amanda Stevens: on zine making and tinder dating
Emma Steen: on syllabi and decolonization
Jolee Smith: on disability arts in Canada

Venue Notes:
Art Bar + Projects is wheelchair accessible through the front door ground level entrance, but the doors are not automatic (a volunteer will be stationed at the door to open if needed). The closest wheelchair-accessible washrooms are in the Granville Mall through the Hollis St entrance. All gender washrooms (with narrow entrances and stalls) are on site. We cannot guarantee a scent-free space as the space is used by various groups, but we ask that folks refrain from spraying perfumes or products before attending to keep the space as low-scent as possible. There is a bar on site, but this will be a dry event. All ages welcome.
