Performance

19 Mar 1976

Created in October of 1972, MISSING ASSOCIATES has performed on a regular basis at A SPACE in Toronto. Choreographers Eng & Dudar have also included video compositions within their activities. Characteristic of their work, one finds improvised conversation and movement variously used as parts in such pieces as “Constant & Repeating Elements / Random or Changing Elements” and “Walking Out”. In such works as “Hand Wall Exercise”, “Establishing Equal Grounds for Mutual Support”, “3 Expanding Squares” and “2 Related Parallel Lines/Vibrations of a Column of Air” Dudar and Eng are concerned with the more formal notions of space delineation, support notions of space delineation, support mechanics/reflex response, and time durations/intervals.
