A Nova Scotia Seascape

6 – 8 Jun 1979

This piece was conceived by Ted Ross and will be performed by Ross and Sandra Levin. “A Nova Scotia Seascape” is a departure from previous work for Ross, as in the past the concepts have been developed in collaboration with other performers, while in this piece it is his own personal interpretation of the environment near his residence.

Ross has produces this performance, subtitled “water, sand, bushes” as an investigation of the traditional in Nova Scotian art. This work was a multi-media performance using sound score and lighting to reflect the environment of the beaches of the province.
